In the Spring of 2024 I joined ten other photographers in a Leica Akademie class led by celebrated Street Photographer Phil Penman.

The weekend course included multiple classroom sessions at the Leica store in Chelsea and three NYC location shoots - in Lower Manhattan, Central Park and Brooklyn.

Phil’s personal perspectives and thoughtful feedback were invaluable throughout… and all delivered with his trademarked British wit. A selection of my images from the weekend are included below.
